Raven Rae Consulting, Kabul, organised another 24h marathon in Kabul in benefit of the Zwan Family Charity, a charity helping poor Afghan families seek medical treatment in Afghanistan or overseas. This particular marathon was held to raise funds for a little girl with bone-marrow disease who needs funds to find a marrow donor and to pay for her marrow transplant.
Several runners completed a 24h run which was only interrupted by 10-minute breaks each hour, others ran 2-hour legs only.
Black Cat co-sponsored the highly successful event and sold a good number of handbags to participants and guests
BBC Persian covered the event. See link to video here.
